Types of batteries

Tennant machines accommodate two primary types of batteries. Ask your Tennant representative for details on the best one for you.

• FLOODED LEAD ACID BATTERIES the default battery on Tennant machines, offering the greatest run time capacity at the lowest cost.
  
  
• SEALED BATTERIES environmentally friendly battery requiring less maintenance and training while eliminating the potential for acid fumes or corrosive spills. Tennant offers spill-proof, valve-regulated Gel Cell batteries as well as absorbed-electrolyte glass mat (AGM) batteries that rapidly accept and deliver current.
