New Recon Division for Floorcare Machines

Tennant Australia, a leader in manufacturing commercial and industrial floorcare solutions has recently unveiled its new Sydney-based Recon division. Dedicated to the repair and resale of industrial and commercial used cleaning machines, this move marks a significant step forward in providing local businesses with sustainable and cost-effective alternatives.

Pioneering sustainable practices

Tennant's new Recon Division is a significant step forward in a world increasingly focused on sustainability and reducing waste. As a renowned global leader in sustainable cleaning innovations, this initiative supports a circular economy, where products are reused and recycled, thereby reducing the demand for new resources and lowering carbon footprints. Tennant’s commitment to quality and durability means that every piece of equipment, whether Certified Pre-Owned or Used, meets high performance and reliability standards.

A standout feature of the Recon Division is the rigorous refurbishment process. Each Certified PreOwned floorcare machine undergoes a comprehensive examination and repair by skilled technicians to ensure it performs like new. These machines provide an optimal balance of affordability and dependability, ideal for businesses seeking to maintain high hygiene standards without the high costs associated with new equipment.

"All our machines are backed by factory direct warranty, meaning our customers can have peace of mind with purchasing from the Manufacturer"

Cost-effective solutions for businesses

The capital investment in new cleaning machines can be challenging for many businesses. Tennant Recon offers an excellent alternative offering Tennant quality refurbished machines at a fraction of the cost. This allows businesses, particularly small to medium-sized enterprises, to access premium branded solutions without straining their budgets.

"We're offering customers access to quality machines at affordable prices. Our goal is to provide sustainable and cost-effective options for all. By prioritising affordability without compromising on quality, we aim to meet the needs of our current customer base and introduce new customers to Tennant quality machines,” said Jones.

Each Tennant Recon cleaning machine is meticulously examined by factory-trained Tennant technicians and classified into three categories: Certified Tennant Recondition, PM Standard or As is condition. This classification ensures that customers have a variety of options to match their budget and cleaning requirements.

  • Tennant Certified Recondition machines come with a labor and parts warranty, offered at 20- 40% less than their new machine counterpart with a 6-month warranty for labour and P&C.
  • Tennant PM standard machines are fully serviced and functional, priced at 40-60% less than a new machine and each machine comes with a 3-month warranty for labour and P&C.
  • Machines Sold As Is are machines priced to sell! Machine comes with no warranty.

The combination of sustainability, quality, and affordability positions Tennant as a forward-thinking leader in floorcare cleaning solutions. Businesses looking to upgrade their cleaning equipment now have a viable, cost-effective option that doesn't compromise performance.
